Back to School

About the Back to School Program

Remember the Back to School Program has changed. The program is now an application process requiring pre-approval. You will not automatically receive a letter and application in the mail.

The Back to School program provides clothing vouchers and bookbags to families with children who meet the specified eligibility criteria. To be eligible for the program, a family's income cannot exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and minor children in the household must be entering/enrolled in grades K-12 during the 2025-2026 school year.

Applications are available online during the period April 01, 2025 – April 30, 2025. The number of applications processed and children served will be contingent upon funding.  Applications will be reviewed and processed in chronological order of submission. No applications will be considered if they are submitted outside the specified timeframe.

Applicants who are approved for the back-to-school voucher program will receive an approval notice in the mail and a letter outlining the distribution dates and instructions.  Applicants who are denied due to ineligibility or lack of funding will receive a denial notice in the mail.
